Challenge 11: After all, sometimes it is all about the PHOTOS

This technique challenge will get your creativity sparked by using your traditional scrapbook supplies or a Digital element to make those photos stand out!

Your Assignment: Create a layout of any size using one of the following techniques to your main photo! Post a link in the comments with your layout and indicated what technique you used. One winner will be chosen on February 10th for a $15 Gift Certificate to Two Peas in A Bucket.

Thanks for joining us at the Playground!

Here are your techniques to choose from:

Option 1 Create a Storyboard with your photos
#1. Is a digital option using Photoshop to create
#2. Same concept using traditional paper supplies

Option 2 Add text or a title to your photo
#1. The digital option uses Photoshop Elements to add several png elements - the "winter" and snowflake" as well as text. Elements are from the Winter Snowflakes kit by Amy Hummel.
#2. Using traditional paper supplies - stickers and rub-ons - the same elements were added to the photo

Option 3 Distress or add a frame to your photo's edges

Option 4 Create a Polaroid picture using digital brushes or traditional stamps.

Option #1: Using a picture that is already printed, use stamps and or paper to create an image that appears to look like an old polaroid image.

Option #2: Using digital images in your image editing program create an image that appears to look like an old polaroid image.

I liked these digital brushes and stamps because they had that old emulsified appearance.

Fun challenge. This is the first time I have sanded photos. Before this I have been afraid to ruin the prints. Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Here's mine. I used a frame on a digital layout. Not distressing the photo though, hope that's okay. :)

Mine is HERE. I used method 2, adding text to my photo.

I don't know if I'm too late or if it's okay that I combined the challenge with one at SIS. But, I still wanted to play along. Thanks for the fun challenge! :)
